The Stranded is a pub that focuses on the art of the pour and an important part of that is the well-kept glassware and dense wet foam.

Our role as the Tapster is just as important as the role of the brewer. It is our duty to guard the beer quality and to care for the beer in order to maintain its greatness.

Each glass is methodically hand washed, rinsed and then bathed in a cold clean bath ready to be rinsed again and then poured in to with a layer of dense foam. Our process and equipment allow for a silky, wet foam that tastes sweet and is easy to drink. The role of the foam also locks the beer’s freshness in and prevents oxidation.
